OUR TEAM
Mexican attorney, she began her professional career in 2014 as a litigator in civil, commercial, family, and amparo proceedings before Mexican courts.
She was appointed CEO of Cibeles Abogados in 2023, focusing her practice on family law, specializing in international surrogacy procedures and human rights, where she has represented parents from around the world and gestational women.
She holds a degree in law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Law, Foreign Trade, and International Relations at ISDE Law & Business School. She is also an active member of Abogadas MX.
JIMENA ORTEGA
A Mexican lawyer with more than five years of experience in family law, she began her career in the public sector in the Family Courts of Mexico City, which allowed her to develop a broader vision of the needs that today prevail at the core of every society: the family.
She joined Cibeles Abogados in 2023, focusing on family law, international surrogacy procedures and human rights, accompanying intended parents and surrogates throughout the process.
She is a graduate of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, has attended family law clinics offered by the courts of Mexico City, and is an associate of Youth Alliance for Sustainability, A.C. (AJUVES), a non-profit youth organization that aims to join forces to mitigate environmental degradation and promote sustainability, with the firm conviction that change begins with oneself.
ENYA NOELIA QUEZADA
An attorney who has been a part of the Cibeles team since March 2023, Enya is dedicated to overseeing and handling cases related to family law and surrogacy in Mexico.
With a law degree from La Salle University Chihuahua, specializing in North American law, Enya has developed and specialized in areas of private law, gaining more than four years of experience representing the interests of Mexican and foreign nationals before Mexican courts, as well as during civil, commercial, and family legal proceedings.
FERNANDA ANAYA
Mexican lawyer with a multidisciplinary profile, boasting over four years of experience across various branches of law. Her professional journey commenced in law firms dedicated to civil and commercial litigation, as well as the practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms.
Since November 2023, she has been a member of Cibeles Abogados, contributing from an intersectional perspective and demonstrating a strong commitment to the defense and protection of human rights, particularly focusing on the best interests of the child. Her goal is to create a fairer and more inclusive legal environment.
She holds a law degree from the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. Additionally, she has served at the Human Rights Commission of Mexico City, specializing in the strategic management of complex cases related to human rights violations committed by public authorities, with a specific focus on access to justice, due process, and the guarantee of women’s rights.
